Are you an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and a confident, professional approach to customer service?
We’re working with an established Kettering-based business that is looking to appoint a Fleet Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, providing essential administrative support across the fleet function.
The Role
Working closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Director, you will provide day-to-day administrative support and help ensure the fleet department runs efficiently and effectively.
You’ll take ownership of your workload, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales, while following company, departmental and client procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support to the Fleet department.
- Assisting with the funding and administration of new vehicles.
- Managing and coordinating MOT administration.
- Responding to customer queries and providing a high standard of customer service.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating spreadsheets and systems.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
- Liaising with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders by telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Supporting the wider team with general departmental duties.
- Taking ownership of your workload and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Working in line with procedures and guidelines set by management.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy administrative environment. You’ll need to be able to manage your workload effectively, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
You should have:
- At least 1 years’ administration experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good telephone and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Good IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- The ability to work confidently to deadlines and agreed timescales.
- A positive, team-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Some form of further education or vocational qualification, such as A Levels, NVQ or equivalent.
