Description

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance schedule for the entire HGV fleet to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for fleet management and repairs.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards within the logistics department.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Lead and support a team of maintenance staff to achieve operational targets.
  • Manage budgets and report on fleet costs and performance to senior management.
  • Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking fleet utilisation and availability.

Profile

A successful Fleet & Maintenance Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in HGV fleet management and maintenance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for logistics operations.
  • CPC (required) and O Licence responsibility
  • Experience in managing budgets and analysing fleet performance data.
  • Experience in managing both inhouse and outsourced HGV maintenance (MIRTE preferenece)
  • Effective leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using fleet management systems and tools.

Job Offer
