FLT CB & YARD in Tamworth, Staffordshire

We are recruiting for Yard Person to work at our established client in Tamworth!
TEMP - PERM ROLE
This is a varied position combining both yard duties and forklift work. Your shift will be spent operating a Counterbalance FLT, with the remaining time dedicated to yard operations and manual handling tasks.
Please note: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive a flatbed van between company sites.
Hours are Monday - Friday 11.30AM - 8PM
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Moving and allocating stock to designated storage areas
- Transporting materials between sites using a company flatbed van
- Shunting and organising stock within the yard
- Manual handling of products and materials
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (accredited)
- Previous FLT experience in a similar industrial, manufacturing, or yard environment
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Experience of manual handling duties
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
