FLT Counterbalance / Dispatch

CareerMakers Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT Counterbalance / Dispatch Operative to join a busy food production environment on a night shift basis.

This role offers a 50/50 split between FLT Counterbalance duties and Dispatch responsibilities, ideal for candidates who enjoy a hands-on and varied warehouse role within a fast-paced setting.

Duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock and finished goods across warehouse and production areas
• Preparing and checking orders for dispatch
• Completing dispatch paperwork accurately
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled and ready for shipment
• Supporting stock control and warehouse organisation
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Has previous warehouse, dispatch, or food production experience
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Has good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Is reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
• Can work independently and as part of a team

What’s on Offer:
