Flt Counterbalance Driver in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client’s team in Wath, Rotherham.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift as part of their day-to-day duties. The role involves a variety of warehouse and materials handling tasks, ensuring efficient operations whilst maintaining high standards of safety and organisation.

Duties

• Loading and unloading materials using a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Driving the forklift from unit to unit
• Operating the Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Moving and positioning materials and stock as required.
• Using a handheld scanner to accurately record stock and orders.
• Engaging in materials handling tasks, including preparing orders accurately for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Performing heavy lifting as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures and ensuring safe working practices at all times.
• Carrying out other warehouse duties as requested.

Skills & Experience

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Valid Driving Licence
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
• Confident and competent in operating a forklift safely.
• Ability to perform materials handling tasks efficiently.

Hours & Pay

• Monday – Friday
• Rotating Days/Afters: 06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30
• Pay Rate : £14.00 per hour
• Pay increase following successful completion of the probation period.
