FLT / Crane Driver

£17.00 per hour

Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Crane Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site on a temporary basis, with a minimum one-month assignment and the potential for an extension.

• Operating overhead cranes and FLTs to move steel, raw materials and finished products safely around the site.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Supplying materials to production areas in a timely manner.
• Carrying out stock movements and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
• Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties as required.
• Completing daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or defects.
• Working in line with strict health and safety procedures at all times.

• Previous experience operating an overhead crane and FLT within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment.
• Valid overhead crane and FLT licences (preferred).
• Experience handling large, heavy or awkward loads safely.
• A good understanding of health and safety in an industrial environment.
• A reliable attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
