About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative /FLT Driver (Counterbalance + Clamp experience) to join a busy storage and warehouse operation in Enfield.
This is a hands-on role focused on storage, stock movement and container unloading. The successful candidate must be confident operating a forklift within a busy warehouse environment and, importantly, have solid experience unloading containers.
You will be responsible for safely moving and storing stock, assisting with goods-in and goods-out, and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Clamp Truck FLT safely and efficiently
- Unloading containers and vehicles confidently and safely
- Moving and positioning stock within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading goods
- Storing stock correctly and efficiently
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
- Organising stock and maintaining accurate storage areas
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and health & safety
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Valid FLT Certificate - Counterbalance or Reach
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience
- Strong experience unloading containers - essential
- Confident and competent operating FLT equipment
- Good understanding of warehouse and storage operations
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on warehouse environment
