FLT Operator - Days in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire

£16.97 per hour | Overtime £22.06 per hour | 6-Month Temporary Contract | Immediate Starts Available

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturer and recognised employer of choice in the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced FLT Drivers to join a busy and supportive warehouse team on an ongoing temporary contract.

• Alternating weekly shifts:
  • 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm
• 5 days from 7 working pattern
• Average 36-hour working week
• Overtime and weekend working may be required

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and moving raw materials and finished goods
• Preparing and dispatching orders accurately and on time
• Recording stock movements using warehouse systems
• Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating FLT trucks within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication, numeracy and basic IT skills
• Flexible approach to shifts, overtime and weekend working

• Additional FLT licences such as Reach Truck, PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) or VNA
• Previous manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience
• Experience using warehouse management systems
