Flux Core Welder - Contract Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Flux Core Welder to join a well-known and respected engineering company based in Poole. This is a contract position starting Monday 2nd November.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Flux Core (FCAW) welding on steel components to a high standard.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
Inspect and assess completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with required standards.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship while meeting production and project deadlines.
Follow all relevant health & safety procedures and company quality standards.
Work effectively as part of a team within a busy engineering environment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Time-served Welder/Fabricator with proven Flux Core welding experience.
Strong experience welding steel using the Flux Core process.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good understanding of welding procedures, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Full rights to work in the UK.
Able to travel to Poole daily for the duration of the contract.
