The Butchers Recruiter is recruiting multiple Food Production Operatives to join our customer in Coventry. These are long-term opportunities, with ongoing work from October into 2027 and a high likelihood of the role becoming permanent for the right candidates.
You will be working in a chilled environment, handling raw or cured meat (pork, bacon, and gammon) through processing, slicing, packing and preparation for delivery, all in line with customer specifications and quality standards.

Working Hours and Pay Rates:
Two-week rotating pattern, fixed shifts from Day 1.
- Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Week Two: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
What you will be doing as a Food Production Operative:
- Processing, slicing, and weighing products
- Grading and packing to customer specifications
- Checking labels and packaging
- Working in a temperature-controlled environment
- Palletising finished goods
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Reporting health and safety concerns
- Working as part of a team to meet targets
- Following all company policies and procedures
You may be required to work across different areas of production depending on operational requirements.
