Food Production Operatives (Bakery)

We are currently recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives (Bakery) for one of our well-established Client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate:

Main Duties:

  • operating bread slicing machines
  • packing products
  • quality checking bread products
  • preparing products for dispatch
  • maintaining cleanliness of the workstation
  • following hygiene and safety procedures
  • participating in workplace training
  • completing documentation in line with BRC standards

Requirements:

  • willingness to work shifts
  • good organisation skills
  • accuracy and responsibility
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic documentation skills
  • experience in food production is an advantage
  • regular attendance, punctuality and maintaining acceptable attendance levels are essential requirements for continued employment and progression to direct contract opportunities

Shifts:

The role involves rotating across all three shifts:

AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Saturday)

PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Sunday to Friday)

Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Sunday to Friday)

8-hour shifts

20 minutes unpaid break

Working 5–6 days per week

Approx. 40 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour
