Food Service Assistant – Basildon (Temporary)

We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our client's busy catering team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Operating tills and handling payments where required
• Restocking food and beverage areas
• Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the wider catering team with daily duties

Requirements:

• Previous catering, hospitality or food service experience is desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Food hygiene knowledge is advantageous but not essential
