Food Technology Teacher

Location: Oldham
Salary: £160-£200 per day
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:15am-3:00pm
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until Christmas, with a view to extend from January for the right candidate

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Oldham on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Food Technology specialist looking for a new role, with the potential for the position to continue beyond Christmas for the right teacher.

You will be responsible for:

• Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical and challenging lessons
• Marking and assessing students' work
• Supporting students to achieve their full potential
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school

• Holds QTS, or has strong experience teaching Food Technology
• Has experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and/or KS4
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed
• Can confidently plan, teach and mark
• Has excellent classroom management skills
• Is keen to become part of the wider school community
• Has 2 professional references available
• Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)

💷 £160-£200 per day, depending on experience
📅 Full-time, Monday-Friday
⏰ 8:15am-3:00pm
📚 Role until Christmas with a view to extend from January
