Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming school in Andover.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who enjoys inspiring students through practical learning and developing creativity, confidence, and life skills through food education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons

  • Encourage creativity, independence, and confidence in students

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Assess and monitor student progress

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Design & Technology department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience

  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject

  • A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing

  • Excellent classroom management skills
