The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons, helping students develop practical skills, creativity, nutritional awareness, and a passion for the subject.
Working closely with departmental leaders and colleagues, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and help ensure students achieve strong academic outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress.
- Promoting high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
- Supporting curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Encouraging students to develop practical skills and subject knowledge beyond the classroom.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and improve outcomes.
