Job Overview:
In this role as a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to develop cooking skills, understand nutrition, and explore food science. You will plan and deliver practical and theoretical lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with the department. Due to a full timetable, this position requires an experienced educator and is not suitable for ECTs.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Plan lessons and track student progress to support academic achievement.
- Inspire a passion for healthy cooking, kitchen safety, and nutrition.
- Support school goals and prepare students for exams as a Food Technology Teacher.
- Must hold UK QTS/QTLS, a PGCE, and strong classroom management skills.
Location & Commute:
The school is on the Hemel Hempstead / Nash Mills borders, easily accessible via the M25 (J20) and A41. It sits a short distance from the local train line for straightforward commutes across Hertfordshire.
