A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Foot Mobile Engineer to work on an exciting contract in the City of London. This is a Foot Mobile role covering five commercial buildings across London. A Zones 1 & 2 Travelcard is provided as part of the role.

Purpose
To carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown works to all Electrical/Mechanical systems within the allocated sites. Engineers must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find using the production of graphical information and the utilisation of current alarm data.
As a Foot Mobile Engineer at Smart Managed Solutions, you will operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner. Manage reactive works process to ensure requests are responded to and closed out in accordance with agreed procedures. To develop management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Carry out routine PPM on all electrical and mechanical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
Complete reactive tasks throughout the building and proactively identify areas where improvements can be made. Reactive works will also include concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
Maintain plant in a serviceable condition by ensuring faults and defects are remedied promptly.
Maintain suitable stock levels of spare parts to support both planned maintenance and reactive works, providing parts inventories and estimated timescales for remedial works where required.
Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System (e.g. Concept, Smart Hub) up to date, ensuring PPM and reactive tickets are closed with accurate information.
Complete all relevant paperwork relating to reactive and breakdown works and submit it promptly to the Contract Administrator.
Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks, maintaining safe working practices at all times.
Keep all plant rooms under Smart's responsibility secure, clean, tidy and locked at all times.

Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installations or equivalent
