Forge Operative

MET are currently looking for a Forge Operative for a client based in Halesowen!

Requirements:

• Operate forging presses, power hammers, furnaces, and associated machinery.
• Heat metal materials to required temperatures for forging
• Shape and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specification
• Monitor machinery performance and report faults or defects.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Overhead Crane + FLT experience advantageous 

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 12am and Friday 12pm to 6am
• 39 hours a week

Pay:

• £13.96 per hour to start
• After 12 weeks entitled to bonus between £25 - £100 per week and 6.5 hours per week extra shift allowance
