The shift pattern...
This position operates on a three-week rotating shift pattern:
🕕 Week 1: Mornings – 6am to 2pm
🕑 Week 2: Backs – 2pm to 10pm
🕙 Week 3: Nights – 10pm to 6am
The pattern then repeats.
You must be able to work ALL THREE shifts. The shift pattern is non-negotiable.
💷 Earn up to £15.59 per hour – equivalent to £32,427 per annum based on the highest shift rate and a 40-hour week.
What will you be doing?
Working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment, you'll play an important role in keeping materials and production moving safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating an FLT safely around the site
- Loading and unloading materials
- Moving stock and materials throughout the facility
- Supplying production areas with materials as required
- Moving finished goods into designated storage areas
- Carrying out routine equipment and safety checks
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely
- Supporting general warehouse and production activities when required
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Previous FLT experience is required and, ideally, you'll hold a current, in-date RTITB-accredited FLT licence.
You'll also need to be:
- Able and willing to work the full three-shift rotation
- Confident operating an FLT within a busy environment
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
- Flexible and willing to support other areas of the operation
- Positive, practical and willing to learn
