Forklift Driver
AM2PM Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy seafood production site based on the docks in Grimsby. This is a great opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for regular Monday to Friday day shifts within a fast-paced production environment.
Location: Grimsby Docks
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Moving raw materials, stock, and finished products around the site
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Supporting the warehouse and production teams with stock movements
- Carrying out daily forklift safety checks
- Following all site health & safety and food hygiene procedures
Requirements of a Forklift Driver:
- Previous forklift driving experience is essential
- A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential
- Previous experience within a warehouse, factory, or food production environment preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
