Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Walsall / Cannock / Brownhills / Wednesbury
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Various shifts available
Job Type:Temp-to-Permanent

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Drivers to join a number of established businesses across the local area.

We have a variety of opportunities available within warehouse, manufacturing, distribution and industrial environments, with ongoing temp-to-permanent positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and storing stock around the warehouse or yard
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading pallets and materials
• Supporting general warehouse and production duties when required
• Completing relevant paperwork and stock checks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all company health & safety procedures

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous forklift experience
• A valid external and in-date Counterbalance, Reach or Bendi/Flexi forklift licence depending on the position
• Previous experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution or industrial environment
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work different shifts where required
