Job Details

• Job Title: Forklift Operator
• Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
• Location: Morpeth
• Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour (Paid weekly)
• Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday (Flexibility required across Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00 | Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 | Nights: 22:00 - 06:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks safely to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas.
• Locate and move pallets of stock, loading trucks efficiently for client delivery.
• Store pallets and unload incoming full goods into the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse.
• Report any stock or vehicle damage immediately to maintain high operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure tight inventory control and warehouse security.
• Perform manual handling tasks when required, such as rebuilding damaged pallets.
• Work safely, methodically, and in a timely manner to achieve set productivity targets.
• Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Essential: An in-date Forklift (FLT) Licence/Certification and proven hands-on FLT experience.
• Essential: Full eligibility to work in the UK.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Work Ethic: High attention to detail, process-driven, methodical, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a continuous improvement mindset and team-player attitude.
• Experience: Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.
