Job Title - Teacher of English (Foundation Learning)

Salary - £34,492 - £41,140 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to deliver high-quality English instruction to Further Education students.

• Deliver engaging instructional sessions covering GCSE and Functional Skills specifications.

• Execute precise assessment tracking to continuously evaluate and document individual learner progression.

• Collaborate closely with departmental colleagues to guarantee synchronized and efficient educational development.

• Implement positive behaviour management techniques and provide constructive guidance to support learner conduct.

• Champion internal quality assurance, verification processes, and standardisation practices across the curriculum.

• Participate actively in promotional initiatives, recruitment events, and college exhibition days. Essential Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification, or an explicit willingness to achieve a Diploma in Education and Training (Cert Ed).

• Relevant subject expertise evidenced by a Level 3 qualification alongside a minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics.

• Proven experience delivering and standardising GCSE English learning programs.

• Exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage deadlines and inspire diverse student groups.

• A valid, clean driving licence and comprehensive proficiency in basic digital workspace software.

• Securement of an Enhanced DBS certificate alongside a verified dedication to safeguarding young individuals. Desired but not essential: Possession of a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject field. Benefits
