Foundation Learning & Life Skills Tutor – Further Education
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Foundation Learning Tutor to support learners aged 16–19 within a further education setting.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging sessions focused on practical life skills and personal development.
- Support learners in developing independence, confidence and communication skills.
- Develop employability skills and prepare young people for adulthood and the workplace.
- Encourage learner participation, engagement and progression.
- Support students in achieving their individual learning goals.
Key Details:
- Contract: Temporary, initially until Christmas, with potential to extend.
- Working Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- Tuesday: Non-working day.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supporting or teaching learners aged 16–19.
- Background in Foundation Learning, Life Skills, Personal Development or Employability.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical learning sessions.
- Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
