Position: Warehouse Operative
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Freezer

Working Hours

Morning shifts are available on a rotating basis:

• 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• 9:00am – 5:00pm

Flexibility is required, as you may be scheduled across any of these shifts depending on operational needs.

Main Duties

The role will involve working in a busy warehouse and freezer environment. Responsibilities include:

• Picking and preparing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Moving and handling stock safely.
• Loading and unloading goods when required.
• Working in a freezer environment and following all health and safety procedures.
• Keeping the working area clean and organised.
• Following company procedures and meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed on time.

Breaks

• 3 paid breaks of 30 minutes each during the shift.

Pay

• Standard rate: £12.91 per hour
• Sunday rate: £25.82 per hour
• Overtime rate: £19.37 per hour

Requirements

The successful candidate should:

• Be comfortable working in a freezer environment.
• Be physically fit and able to carry out warehouse duties.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Be flexible to work any of the morning shifts listed above.
• Be available for full-time work.

Opportunity for Permanent Employment

The position is initially offered with the opportunity to be employed directly after 12 weeks, subject to performance, attendance and business requirements.
