Right Now Group is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Freight Recruitment Division Lead to take our specialist Freight Division to the next level.

We're looking for someone who leads from the front, generates revenue, develops relationships and takes real ownership of their division.

Our Freight Division specialises in permanent recruitment across freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain, supporting clients with specialist operational, commercial and management appointments.

You'll work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, with the opportunity to influence the direction, performance and long-term growth of the division.

The Opportunity

As Freight Recruitment Division Lead, you'll be responsible for the commercial performance, recruitment delivery and strategic development of the Freight Division.

This is a hands-on billing leadership role, combining your own 360 recruitment activity with the development of the wider division.

You'll be expected to set the standard through your own performance, create new business opportunities and build a high-performing team as the division grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial performance and growth of the Freight Division.

• Develop and execute a clear business development strategy.

• Personally generate new business and secure permanent recruitment vacancies.

• Build strong relationships with freight forwarding and logistics businesses.

• Manage your own recruitment assignments and deliver consistent billing.

• Develop key accounts and identify opportunities to increase revenue.

• Build a sustainable pipeline of clients, vacancies and candidates.

• Monitor performance against individual and divisional targets.

• Lead, coach and develop recruitment consultants.

• Support the recruitment and expansion of the Freight Division.

• Maintain high standards of candidate qualification, client service and recruitment delivery.

• Work closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and improve divisional performance.

What We're Looking For

• A strong track record in 360 recruitment, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.

• Proven success in winning new business and generating recruitment revenue.

• Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to develop new markets.

• Previous experience managing, mentoring or supporting recruitment consultants.

• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead by example.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• The ability to manage personal billing alongside divisional responsibilities.

• Strong organisation, initiative and independent decision-making.

• Genuine ambition to build and lead a successful recruitment division.
