Front of House Receptionist

Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Front of House Receptionist to join their busy Workplace Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys being at the centre of a professional office environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, delivering an exceptional experience for employees, visitors, and external partners.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing a varied workload while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming visitors and contractors and managing site access arrangements
- Coordinating visitor registrations and access passes
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
- Arranging business travel in line with company policies
- Operating the office switchboard and handling general enquiries
- Managing meeting room bookings and supporting meeting setup requirements
- Providing hospitality support for meetings and events, including refreshments where required
- Assisting with office events and workplace activities
- Monitoring and replenishing office supplies and workplace provisions
- Providing general administrative support across the business
- Reporting and monitoring building maintenance issues
- Liaising with building management and external service providers
- Supporting workplace health, safety, and compliance activities
- Assisting with document, archive, and records management
- Providing occasional support to wider business support functions
- Contributing to the smooth operation of workplace and facilities services
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, Workplace Services, Facilities, or Office Support role
- Outstanding customer service skills
- A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in a Front of House or Reception position within a professional office environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in:

- Excel
- Word
- OneDrive
