Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Abergavenny, supporting them with their search for a Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive and supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP within their Early Years provision. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide general classroom support and work with children with a range of abilities and ALN, so a patient, flexible and committed approach is essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within an Early Years or Primary School setting
• Experience or confidence supporting children with additional learning needs / ALN
• A good understanding of supporting learning and development in the classroom
• A patient and supportive approach
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to individual children's needs
• Reliability and the ability to commit to a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role
