Position: Gas Engineer

Location: Wiltshire - covering a 20-mile radius of the office in Melksham

Salary: £40,000 - £47,000

Gas Engineer required for our client, an established plumbing and heating company based in Wiltshire. The business is looking to expand its engineering team and is open to considering engineers with experience in servicing and breakdowns, installations, or a combination of both.

The successful candidate will carry out gas engineering work across a local area, with no requirement for 24-hour call-out or weekend working. This is a good opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role, a local working area and the option to earn additional money through overtime.

Gas Engineer Position Requirements

• Qualified Gas Engineer with relevant ACS qualifications
• Experience in domestic gas servicing and breakdowns, installations, or both
• Plumbing background would be advantageous
• OFTEC registration or previous OFTEC experience would be beneficial
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently and provide a professional service to customers
• Based within a commutable distance of the Wiltshire office

Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary £40,000 to £47,000
• 25 days annual leave, increasing by one additional day for each year of service
• Birthday off
• Company pension
• Working hours: 8am-5pm
• Overtime available if desired
• No weekend working required, with the option to work weekends for additional earnings
• No 24-hour call-out rota
• Company van and fuel card, with some personal use permitted
• Tools and equipment supplied if required
