An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to support the installation and maintenance of security and access control systems on construction sites. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, computer literate, and keen to develop their skills within a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and maintaining turnstiles, barriers, and site access control systems.
- Assisting with the setup and operation of security equipment.
- Using software and mobile applications to update records and complete job documentation.
- Carrying out basic troubleshooting and reporting equipment faults.
- Supporting site teams with system maintenance and equipment checks.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Experience in construction, security systems, or access control equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
- CSCS card advantageous but not essential.

Monday to Thursday 7am till 16:30pm, Friday 7am till 1pm (37.5 hrs weekly)
