Pay Range: £168.80 - £232.58 per (equivalent to MPS1–MPS6), dependent on experience

Contract Type: Autumn Term

Hours: Full-Time

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher with QTS to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that bring geographical concepts to life, fostering curiosity about the world, developing critical thinking skills, and driving strong academic outcomes.

About the role:

Deliver inspiring Geography lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

Plan creative and well-structured lessons that promote a love of Geography and strong academic progress.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and maximise achievement.

Use assessment data and effective feedback to drive pupil attainment and outcomes.

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography and current global issues.

Promote high expectations for behaviour, literacy, numeracy and geographical enquiry skills.

Contribute positively to the wider school community and support students' personal and academic development.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting
• Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
