The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography and the ability to bring the subject to life across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world's physical and human landscapes, while encouraging curiosity, independent thinking and a keen interest in current global issues.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be an enthusiastic and inspiring Geography teacher with high expectations of students.
• Have experience teaching Geography across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the discipline.
• Be able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Have experience working with students with SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of all students.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum at GCSE and A-Level.
• A sound understanding of effective differentiation and adaptive teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).
