Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Solihull area to recruit an enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive Humanities department committed to high-quality teaching and student success.

The Role
- Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons.
- Develop students' understanding of physical geography, human geography, environmental issues, and global citizenship.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress, preparing pupils for GCSE Geography.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities department to deliver an engaging and inspiring curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
