Goods In Inspector – PM Shift

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (HP19 8TD)
Salary: £31,694 – £34,878 DOE (including 15% shift premium)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift: Monday–Wednesday 1:30pm–11:30pm, Thursday 1:30pm–11:00pm
Job Type: Permanent

Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business in Aylesbury.

This role will involve inspecting and booking in incoming materials and components, maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider Goods Inwards and Stores function.

Goods In Inspector Responsibilities

• Inspecting and booking in raw materials and incoming goods
• Using the internal ERP system to accurately record incoming materials
• Carrying out inspection and packing of equipment and materials
• Completing works tickets and relevant quality documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working in accordance with the company Quality Management System
• Planning and prioritising workload to meet production requirements

Goods In Inspector Profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Previous Goods Inwards, Stores or Inspection experience preferred
• Good understanding of quality procedures within manufacturing
• Experience using ERP systems
• Competent with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail
• Organised and methodical approach
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow procedures
