Goods In Operative in Eynsham, Oxfordshire

Are you reliable, hard-working and comfortable using a computer?

We’re looking for someone to join a busy manufacturing business and help manage the materials and parts arriving on site.

You don’t need years of warehouse experience. If you’ve worked in a hands-on environment, have a good attitude and are willing to learn, we can teach you the rest.

What will you be doing?

Your job is to make sure deliveries arriving on site are checked, recorded and put in the right place.

This will include:

• Receiving deliveries and unloading materials
• Checking that the right items and quantities have arrived
• Checking parts for any obvious damage
• Entering basic information onto a computer
• Labelling and putting materials away
• Moving parts and materials around the site
• Keeping the Goods In area clean and organised
• Letting the team know if something is missing, damaged or incorrect
• Helping with stock checks when needed

What do we need from you?

You need to be:

• Reliable and willing to work
• Comfortable using a computer
• Able to follow instructions and processes
• Accurate when checking numbers and paperwork
• Happy working in a hands-on environment
• Organised and able to keep your work area tidy
• Comfortable working as part of a team

Previous warehouse, stores, manufacturing or Goods In experience would be useful, but it isn’t essential.

If you have a forklift licence, that’s a bonus. Again, it isn’t essential.
