You’ll be working on high-profile projects around the world; designing innovative lighting that delivers visually stunning results.

Initially, you’ll be helping more experienced colleagues and learning from them; then taking on more and more responsibility as times goes on.
You’ll mainly be working on the design of components that make up these intricate pieces of LED lighting. Using 3D CAD to bring it to life.
You’ll develop knowledge of the software and electronics that are part of the lighting; as well as things like schematics, and assemblies. And you’ll get a good insight into the production process.
The lighting solutions are sustainable, with a focus on energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
There are great long-term career prospects; you can move into a more senior design role in time. Or even get into the management of projects, including global travel.
The office is based in north London, close to areas including Highgate, Archway, and Hampstead. It’s well served by transport links.
What you’ll need…
The good news is you don’t need to have any related experience; and you may never even have thought of this as an industry to work in.
But the idea should excite you, and you’ll need to have an interest in buildings.
Your degree should be design related, and ideal ones would be mechanical engineering, product or industrial design, or some architectural related ones.
You’ll need to be able to do calculations, use visual perception, and be practical and rigorous.
