Are you a Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Graduate looking to kickstart your career in estimating with full training and support from experienced management?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established company specialising in mechanical and electrical building services, maintenance and projects. You will receive structured estimating training, ongoing mentoring and the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills, with clear routes of progression into senior positions.

In this role, you will support the preparation of cost estimates for mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts and projects valued between £10k and £400k. You will review technical specifications, calculate labour and material costs, obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and assist with tender submissions. You will work closely with experienced engineers and management, gradually taking ownership of your own projects as your knowledge develops.

This role would suit a Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Graduate or similar with strong numerical skills and an understanding of M&E systems, looking for a long-term career in estimating with structured training and progression.

The Role:

• Prepare cost estimates for M&E maintenance contracts and projects
• Review technical drawings, specifications and asset registers
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations
• Support tender submissions and liaise with engineers and suppliers
• Hybrid working - minimum 3 days in the Dartford office

The Person:

• Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Graduate or similar
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical or mechanical building systems
• Full UK driving licence
