Our client is a growing specialist recruitment organisation operating within the financial markets sector. Based in Shoreditch, London, they are looking for ambitious graduates to join their team as Graduate Financial Markets Recruitment Consultants.

They work with investment banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms and trading houses across global financial markets. Their network spans major centres including London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Chicago, with recent assignments involving $7bn and $10bn investment funds, alongside specialist roles across FX, equities, commodities, derivatives and quantitative trading. Operating at the premium end of financial markets recruitment, our client secures high five-figure and six-figure fees for specialist executive search assignments across the global financial markets.

The Role

As a Graduate Financial Markets Recruitment Consultant, you'll specialise in identifying and placing high-calibre professionals across the financial services and markets sector.

You'll develop an in-depth understanding of areas including:

• Foreign Exchange (FX) & Currency Markets
• Equities & Equity Markets
• Investment Banking
• Sales & Trading
• Capital Markets
• FinTech & Financial Services
• Commodities & Derivatives
• Institutional & Corporate Finance

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with financial services professionals and senior decision-makers
• Identifying and approaching candidates within specialist financial markets
• Developing your own network and market expertise
• Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability
• Winning new business and developing client relationships
• Managing the recruitment process from initial conversation through to placement
• Negotiating offers and managing the relationship between client and candidate
• Becoming a specialist within your chosen financial markets sector
