The Director is MIStructE qualified, very personable and experienced at mentoring for Chartership. He was been part of a reputable London practice for 10 years, where he was their first employee himself but branched out to build his own brand, starting this practice in early 2024.

The role would suit a high calibre graduate structural engineer with 6 months to a year of buildings design experience. Ability to use revit would be advantageous. You must be keen for development and career growth, an exceptionally varied workload and involvement in all aspects of projects. A fresh graduate of exceptional calibre will also be considered. You would be given the flexibility and autonomy that can only come with working for a small practice.

The work is exceptionally varied, often architecturally led bespoke projects, generally £1m-£6m in build value, and would suit a thinking engineer who enjoys fiddly problem solving and working with good architects.

Current projects include a 5 storey RC frame new build, vertical extensions, supermarkets with flats above, an embassy building in London, bespoke residential schemes, fancy internal staircases, a private residential house sunken into a hillside where the owner would like it column free, multi-storey new build townhouses, conversion of garages to housing which are based on some tricky ground, temporary works schemes and refurbs. They notably did the on the design for UK's first ever indoor EV charging station.

Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a desire to work towards Chartership.
