Grounds Maintenance Operative – Flintshire

Pay & Hours

  • £13.26 per hour
  • 37 hours per week, worked over 4 days
  • 7:30am – 5:30pm
About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a dedicated team working across various locations in Flintshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining public spaces to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have previous experience working in an outdoor or grounds maintenance role
  • Hold relevant licences or certifications, such as:
    • Ride-on mower
    • Chainsaw
    • Weed spraying
      (These are not essential but would be advantageous)
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a variety of public spaces, including parks, gardens, and hedgerows
  • Carrying out grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed spraying, and tree maintenance duties
  • Driving company vehicles to locations throughout Flintshire
  • Working as part of a small, supportive team
  • Following all health and safety procedures and regulations
