Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join a small team responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces to a consistently high standard.

This would suit someone with strong grounds maintenance experience who is ready to take their first step into a supervisory position.

The Role

You'll help oversee day-to-day grounds maintenance activities across multiple sites, including:

  • Supervising at least one member of the team
  • Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
  • Weed control and spraying
  • Shrub and flower bed maintenance
  • Hedge cutting
  • Leaf clearance
  • Carrying out regular checks to ensure work meets the required standard
  • Responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently
  • Recording daily work and checks using an electronic mobile workforce system

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential
  • Experience supervising others is desirable, although this could suit someone ready to progress into their first supervisory role
  • Full, clean UK driving licence essential
  • PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications required; PA2 would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • Comfortable working across different sites
  • Able to work outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable, practical and confident working as part of a small team
