The RoleAs a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard across a variety of commercial and residential sites.
Typical duties include:
- Leading and supervising a grounds maintenance team
- Pedestrian walk-behind and ride-on mowing
- Strimming and brush cutter work
- Hedge and tree pruning
- Pond and lake maintenance
- Weed control and spraying
- Re-barking and general soft landscaping duties
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site
- Liaising with management to ensure projects are delivered on time
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Grounds Maintenance
- At least 1 year's experience leading or supervising a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and landscape drawings
- CSCS Card desirable (training can be provided if required)
- A proactive and reliable approach with excellent communication skills
- Salary up to £32,500 depending on experience
