Groundworker

Job description:

Required in Wokingham

Long term temporary role

£22 p/h

Must have

· An in date CSCS card

Key elements of this job

Groundworker required to carry out finishings on site including kerbing, edging and topsoiling.

Other duties could include

· Digging trenches and excavation

· Using shovels and other hand tools

· Clearing the site by removing the topsoil or anything that can affect the construction process

· Landscaping the site

· Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance

· Removing old drainage or other pipework systems

· Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work

· Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations

· Setting up the construction site

· Digging trenches and laying concrete

· Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs

· Using shovels and other hand tools

Requirements and experience levels

- Must be hard working and driven

- Valid ID/Passport

- Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)

- CSCS Card;

• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams on busy construction sites.
• A valid EUSR certification is essential; additional certifications in welding or mechanical trades are advantageous
