Groundworks Foreman in Newbury, Berkshire

Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Foreman for a live project in Newbury.

The project is currently in its early stages, with site stripping and clearance works underway.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising an experienced team of groundworkers

• Overseeing phase-one groundworks from initial stages through to completion

• Managing raft slab construction

• Supervising internal and external drainage installations

• Overseeing foul pumping station works

• Coordinating daily site activities, labour, plant and materials

• Liaising with the Contracts Manager to ensure works progress safely and efficiently

Essential requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman

• Previous supervisory experience on raft slabs

• Strong experience with internal and external drainage

• Previous experience delivering foul pumping station works

• Extensive knowledge of phase-one groundworks

• Ability to manage an experienced groundworks team independently

• Relevant site qualifications and certifications
