Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing team, working on our Southwark contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and routine water hygiene duties across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring water systems are maintained in line with current regulations and Legionella control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on domestic and commercial water systems.

• Undertake cold water storage tank inspections and surveys.

• Complete routine water system flushing and temperature monitoring.

• Carry out water sampling in accordance with relevant procedures.

• Identify potential water hygiene risks and report defects or concerns.

• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of water hygiene procedures and Legionella control.

• Experience carrying out flushing, sampling and tank surveys.

• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
