EA Associates are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a busy commercial project in Ipswich on an initial 6-month contract.
We are looking for a confident and experienced Supervisor with a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, ideally with previous experience working on commercial sites.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor
- Previous experience working on commercial projects
- SMSTS qualification
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering
- Able to manage and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors
- Good understanding of health & safety and site procedures
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- CSCS card
The Role:
- Supervising groundworks activities on site
- Managing site operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
- Liaising with site management and other trades
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety
- Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day site operations
6-month contract with the potential for further work.
