Job Title: Group Equipment Manager
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Group Equipment Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and optimisation of equipment across multiple sites. Based in Mansfield, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and cost-effective asset utilisation across the group.

Key Responsibilities of the Group Equipment Manager:

  • Lead the strategic management of all company equipment and assets across multiple locations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend asset life
  • Manage equipment procurement, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Monitor equipment performance and introduce continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee inventory control, tracking systems, and asset registers
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to equipment and maintenance operations

About You:

  • Proven experience in an equipment, asset, or maintenance management role (multi-site experience preferred), within a retail focused environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience managing budgets and supplier contracts
  • Proficient in asset management systems and maintenance planning tools
  • Engineering or technical background (desirable)
