Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing business in Huddersfield to recruit a Group Finance Analyst.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with data, analysing numbers and turning financial information into useful insight for the wider business.

The role will include:

• Producing sales, margin and profitability reporting across a large client base.
• Analysing performance across different products, sites and business areas, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting, including challenging assumptions and investigating variances.
• Producing client and product profitability analysis to support commercial decision-making.
• Maintaining and developing Power BI dashboards and recurring reports.
• Working with large datasets using advanced Excel and multiple finance systems.
• Preparing month-end accruals and supporting robust financial controls and reconciliations.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation, better systems and AI tools.
• Presenting clear financial analysis to both Finance and non-finance stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with strong Excel skills and previous experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance analysis or a data-focused finance role. You will need a good understanding of sales, margin and profitability, alongside experience with Power BI and financial reporting.

A finance or analytical qualification, or part-qualification, would be beneficial but is not essential.
