Group Quality Manager in South Darenth, Kent

Dartford, Kent (Hybrid)

Up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

I'm currently supporting an established international engineering and technology business in their search for a Group Quality Manager to lead and develop their global Quality function.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Group Quality Management System while playing a key role in shaping quality strategy, developing teams, improving business performance and ensuring standards are maintained across multiple international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop an international Quality team
• Drive a positive quality culture across the wider business
• Act as the senior point of contact for quality-related matters across engineering, product and operational teams
• Own and develop the Group Quality Management System
• Provide quality performance reporting and insights to senior leadership and the board
• Support supplier quality, product compliance and customer quality activities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
• Build strong relationships across all functions and influence business decisions where quality, safety or compliance is concerned

Experience within engineering, electronics, automotive, aerospace, defence or other regulated manufacturing environments would be highly beneficial.

• Leadership of quality teams and business functions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience working with senior leadership teams
• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
• Supplier, customer or product quality experience
• A practical, hands-on leadership style
• Continuous improvement expertise

Experience of IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP would be advantageous.
