As the Head of Accounts Payable in North Lancashire, you'll oversee and manage the accounts payable function. Your role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in payment processes.

Description

• Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Implement and maintain effective processes to streamline accounts payable operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee supplier relationships and resolve payment-related queries.
• Prepare and review accounts payable reports for management.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.

Profile

A successful Head of Accounts Payable should have:

• Proven experience in managing an accounts payable function.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payment issues efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary of £50,000 to £70,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office.
